Laguna Seca Corkscrew

I participated in the Santa Barbara region track day at Laguna Seca. I was assigned to the blue group and had a great day. Got a new personal best by following a faster guy in a Cayman.

Had a couple of odd issues during the day. We were heavily fogged in that morning and got started a few minutes late. When I was going on to grid and through the tech, I was sent back because my numbers were too small. Now, I'd used this same setup all season at various tracks with various PCA groups, but I went back and created some tape numbers. Upon reflection, the vinyl numbers were too small so I ordered some larger 15" vinyl numbers that will fit on doors and hood for next season.

The other odd thing that happened was during my third session, I started to hear a squeal off my right rear brakes. Since I'd already hit my best time, I decided to skip the last session and head home a bit early. And, I'll need to order some anti-squeal paste for the pads on their next rotation.
