Yeah well, the goal isn't to fall.
I've been trying to get into the water a few times a week. I got a new GoPro as a present and I bought some accessories to capture some video of myself. Video is a great tool to find silly mistakes. I'm making progress.
I started on a 8'8" foamie but soon got tired of not being able to get the thing turning. I'm now on a 9'1" Torq longboard witch seems to work ok.
While I was figuring out how to get started again, I sent in my old (1991) 7'1" to have the dings repaired. My even older (1987) was also hiding under the deck. It's too damaged for an easy repair but it makes a great land based training board to practice drills on.
I joined up with Longboard Sessions in part to get some video / community based coaching. I had uploaded copies of the videos above and have received some good feedback which I'm practicing in the garage to get ready for this afternoon.
