I retired from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2018 after 30 years in information technology. In that capacity, I worked on and with a variety of technologies, platforms, open source and proprietary software and hardware in addition to leading teams, providing executive consultation, physical security systems and project management.
Since 2019, my wife and I continued to take care of our families which have ranged from home schooling elementary school to providing elder care for my mother. We've been blessed enough to make some good investments in our home to make it comfortable and more efficient in terms of water, power and fire safety.
My particular endeavours include travel, track days, autocross, cycling, surfing, Drupal, photography, local Santa Cruz history.
