Here's a few article ideas to pursue as we get the students moved in this Fall.
Update the "how we're using Aegir" article with enough info for LITS to take over.
Continue documenting our Drupal dev and prod environments for LITS management. This could be part of the updated Aegir article. The basic idea is that I can't continue to manage all aspects of the Aegir->Drupal based service for the sites (20) that we're managing. Show some of the systems and config documentation we've placed in our Open Atrium instance.
Document recent Drupal work. Thumbsup, ubercart, maps-dev2, vCard, Events Manager, Women's Center, BFSA, Cleanwater, Sustainability, Title and Pay Plan, iPad service and the copy of UCB Calendar of Events.
Document the prototyping of Online Grocery (Drupal + Ubercart config) to handle the ordering of groceries by students via Dining Services.
Over the summer, I brought up a copy of WordPress for our friends in University Relations. They're prototyping a new service idea at blogs.ucsc.edu. My arrangement with them is that should this idea take off, that they need to move to a new VM in the datacenter. That VM can be a single LAMP stack or it can be split across service areas depending on the level of security required. They'd also need a design review. http://blogs.ucsc.edu
